UNDERGROUND REPORTAGE

Did you know? There are people underground and there are many of them. This is an ongoing reportage project about what contemporary people do in caves and why. I draw with a pencil or a China Marker on a thick PVC slate as I meander through the various cave systems. The drawing often happens while lying face down in a tight muddy passage, or while suspended on a rope with a dark bottomless chasm sinking below.
